Real World, Real Savings

William Cox is an amateur photographer, a stickler for keeping records who lives in central Kentucky. Two years ago, William decided to build his dream house. Many decisions went into building his dream, including the use of Thermocore wall and roof panels in its construction. William had done plenty of research into Thermocore Panels and expected that his new home would be energy and environmentally friendly. He is truly surprised as to the savings he is realizing. You see, although William's new home is over 44% larger than his previous home, his bills attributed to heating and cooling his new home are actually 61% LOWER. That's right. Even though William enjoys a significantly larger home, he is actually spending $115.00 LESS per month on utilities vs. his old home. William knew building with Thermocore was a smart choice-how smart he was amazed to see.

Prior Residence
1500 sq/ft foot print Annual heat/cooling costs $2,269.00

New Thermocore Home
2650 sq/ft foot print Annual heat/cooling costs $889.00

Annual Savings $1,380.00

William Cox now has a beautiful new home (pictured left) and an extra $115.00 in his pocket
EVERY MONTH. With the cost of so many things going up today, what would you do with an extra $155.00 per month??

Thermocore Homes and Tax Credits

Homeowners are eligible for Federal Tax Credits for building energy efficient homes that achieve 50% energy savings over the 2003 International Energy Conservation Code including 2004 supplements. According to the program, at least 1/5 of the energy savings must come from the building envelopes improved level of insulation and air sealing. Building with Thermocore Panels is the ideal option to meet the standard for tax credits. Additionally, homes built with Thermocore walls and roof panels do not require a blower door test to meet the improvement standard. Another reason Thermocore is the smart choice for your new home.
